A B O U T  M E:  I am an LPCC Candidate from the University of St. Thomas. I believe that effective therapy requires a calming environment where you can express yourself without fear of judgment. In contrast to the stereotype of psychoanalysis as a cold and mystifying luxury for the privileged few, I aim to provide a psychodynamically oriented space that is warm, collaborative, down-to-earth, and cognizant of the systemic realities affecting your life.

My practice is most informed by existentialist, attachment-based, cognitive behavioral, and feminist therapy traditions. Exploring your relationship patterns, existential concerns, and day-to-day stressors through these lenses, we will work together to empower you to make positive choices and to uncover any subconscious internal resistance to living the life you were meant to live.

Originally from Boston, I moved to Minnesota on a whim in 2013 and I haven't looked back since. As a college student, I studied comparative literature at Yale University and then worked in publishing-related jobs for a number of years. Slowly, I realized that what I most loved about literature was its ability to make us empathize with any character whose background was at least partially revealed. I believe that every person on earth is worthy of empathy and capable of change. Making the switch to counseling psychology has afforded me the opportunity to collaboratively trace and gather the threads of a client's life, and to find in that fabric the possibility for something new.
